Meeting with the People President of Sébaco and San Isidro, Matagalpa, in Consultation on the Constitutional Reform ”Hay Patria"

We are here with you, you who are the People President, you the People Deputy; we are here your Compañeras and Compañeros Members of the National Assembly, the Executive Board and the Compañeras and Compañeros who make up the Special Constitutional Commission, a Commission that was formed on the directive of Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario, to carry out the Constitutional Reforms.
Today we are coming to listen to you, we are not coming to talk ourselves, we are coming to listen to you on the points of the Reform. Remember that on July 19th, Comandante Daniel directed us to make these Reforms, to carry out these Reforms with the aim of preserving Peace, with the aim of preserving Stability, and with the aim of preserving Security in our country.
We have to take secure steps for Peace, we cannot return to those moments where we are going to be fighting among ourselves, let alone reach for some reason to hold Elections so that they cause division between us.
So, today we are here with Compañero Pedro Haslam, who is the Departmental Political Secretary of the Sandinista Front; here also is Compañero Janina Mejía, Political Secretary of Matagalpa South; we have our Brother Luis Martínez, Mayor of Sébaco, who is our host.
We have Compañero Eliézer Gurdián, Mayor of San Isidro who is here with us; we also have the Representatives of the National Police of the Department of Matagalpa; Compañeras and Compañeros of the Municipal Councils of Sébaco and San Isidro.
It is a pleasure for me to have here the Youth Coordinators of the Municipalities of Sébaco and San Isidro in Matagalpa South; the Compañeras and Compañeros of the July 19th Sandinista Youth; we have here also Teachers, Students, Merchants, Transporters, workers of the Municipalities of Sébaco and San Isidro, Families of these Municipalities; and also our Brothers and Sisters who fight, day by day, the Compañeras and Compañeros of the Citizen Power Media.
For all of us who are present, I ask for a warm applause, like this Sun that does not set, Blessed Sun, because without water and without the Sun there is no production.
Did they give you this little sheet of paper, have you read it yet?... The answer was strong, it means that you have already read it. This little piece of paper has seven points, they are the points of the Reform which we are consulting with you today, and which we are consulting with everyone, because the People, what is the People? Our Model. What is the People? The People President, and we want to listen to the People President, the People Deputy.
Yes, now that you have read the points and have your opinion, at the end we are going to vote to continue with this reform process, because you know that Constitutional Reforms take place by way of two approvals; we already made one on September 1st, but now we have to wait until January 18th in honor of the birth, the birthday of our great Rubén Darió, on January 18 that will be approved in the Second Legislature.
On that occasion the Reforms would then be final, but for now we can say that we already consulting all of Nicaragua in more than 100 municipalities in Nicaragua.
Here we have gathered together the Protagonists, two Peoples President of the Municipality of Sébaco and San Isidro. Let’s look at at the seven points, I’ll summarize them even smaller than they are here.
The First Point says, that in Nicaragua no Foreign Law that is valid; in Nicaragua the Laws that are valid are the Nicaraguan ones. Are we clear? That's what the First Point says.
It says that in Nicaragua the extraterritoriality of the laws that they make in another country is prohibited, so they can't come to try scaring us, that we are going to have a so-and-so law, or some other one, I don't know what. Only Nicaraguan laws are valid in Nicaragua.
The second point is very important, Comandante Daniel told us that there will be no elections for these bandits to come back who want to disrupt the Peace and turn Health and Education into a business.
So, the Second Point says that coup plotters, traitors to the Nation, those who promote foreign interference, those who call for military intervention, those who organize politically with external financing, those who support economic, commercial or financial blockades, those who do not comply with the Fundamental Principles of the Political Constitution, cannot be candidates and cannot hold public office. Those people won't be able to.
Are we clear about that? So, if they ask us, are there going to be no elections? Of course there are going to be elections, and who are will take part? All of us are going to take part, except the coup plotters, the traitors to the Nation, those are the ones who are not going to participate, because besides, this is simply what we have said, we said: They Could Not Prevail, Nor Will They! So then, they will not be able to take part.
The Third point is that the period for there to be elections, the period for those positions is going to be seven years, it's enough time to see how things are going; seven years, right now it's six, and it will go to seven.
The Fourth reform, also the High Commands of the Army and the Police are going to be for seven years.
The Fifth reform, the Supreme Electoral Council is given the power to hold elections every seven years, but also to say, this one who is going to register here, look, they were a coup leader and spend their time writing there on Facebook that the military intervention should come now. So they can't participate. Are we clear?
How can anyone think that someone who says come and invade us, come and kill us is going to be able to take part in a National Election. They can't, we won't allow it. The Electoral Council has to say that.
On the Sixth point, the Inauguration is now going to be, according to this proposal, the Inauguration will be on January 18th in honor of the birth of Ruben Dario. We owed that to our National Hero, because we did not dedicate that important event, the Inauguration, to him, we held it eight days earlier and before we held it on the 1st. Now it will be on the 18th.
The Seventh reform, the Deputies here and the Mayors will be wondering if the elections are now going to be every seven years, which is in 2028, and according to the current Law they hold office until 2027, wnhat is going to happen in that year? So, point seven says, pending that Election being held, the current posts are extended to seve years. Are we clear? So there won't be a power vacuum, and there won't be a power vacuum, after all whose Power is it? Of the People, the People President.
That's as far as I have got to, and now we give the floor to you, and let Pedro be the one who directs the speakers. Thank you, Brothers and Sisters.
They Could Not Prevail, Nor Will They!

Thank you, Brother. Doctor Gustavo Porras, President of the National Assembly, welcome, Compañeras and Compañeros of the Executive Board who are working on this Constitutional Reform, Brother and Sister Deputies, and all those present, families of San Isidro, Sébaco, these two very important Municipalities for our country.
Rice production, vegetable production, livestock production and food production in these two Municipalities is fundamental for the Sovereignty and Food Security of our People throughout Nicaragua, and here too there is also a history of the struggle of our forebears, Matagalpa’s Indians.
Welcome to these lands of Dignity, Peace and Struggle for a better future for Nicaraguan families. We thank everyone present, because from very early on they were arriving at this place to share this very transcendental issue for the life of the Nation with the Commission and with the Executive of the National Assembly,.
To continue on that path we Nicaraguans, with the leadership, thanks be to God and the Wisdom of Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario, and with the will of this People President, must move onward in the fight against Poverty, in the fight for Development, in the fight for Social Justice, for Dignity, and for the consolidation of Peace.
This Peace achieved thanks to all the sacrifice of our Heroes, our Heroines, and all the sacrifice of our People for two centuries fighting against Spanish colonization, then against the world’s Empires so as to achieve July 19th 1979.
And to reaffirm our independence, and to reaffirm the struggle for the path of Peace, Tranquility and Security we Nicaraguans are living today.
We are going to give the floor to those who want to take part in this great Consultation, given that the Consultation as such, as Dr. Gustavo Porras has explained, is being held to strengthen our Programs, our Projects to overcome Poverty, for the welfare of Youth, for the welfare of children, for the welfare of the present and future generations of our Patriotic Nation.
Without further ado we give you the floor, just raise your hand and say what you like. Please identify themselves with your name, which Municipality you come from and which sector you represent.
Javier Palacios
Representative of the Sports Sector in Chagüitillo, Sébaco
Good morning, Compañero Doctor Porras, President of the National Assembly, members of the Commission accompanying you, Deputies, Compañero Pedro Haslam, Departmental Political Secretary; to all those who preside over the Commission.
In the city of Sébaco we find that Sébaco is organized in 42 Communities with 26 Neighborhoods, or put another way, 68 territories and 92 Victory Units that we have organized in our Municipality.
The People President are here today welcoming the members of the National Assembly Commission, all the Compañeros and Compañera; we have also all the Sectors of our Municipality as the People President, welcoming you to the Municipality of Sébaco.
We are clear that we must be prepared to ratify and support the Seven Points, the Seven Articles established by the Constitutional Reform, because it contains Security, Peacean Stability.
We are have arrived at this point and maybe I can say my generation has. My name is Javier Palacios, I come from Villa Chagüitillo, jurisdiction of Sébaco, I represent the Sports Sector across the Municipality and on behalf of them can say that we ratify and support the seven points established by the Constitutional Reforms.
How can there not be democracy with the participation of so many people here, where Doctor Porras as President is telling us that we are the ones who are going to have an opinion, the ones who are going to express why we support these Reforms.
It is because we are the People President, we are the generation that has also come since the 60s. 70. 80, 90; my generation has lived 3 Generations, we are familiar with Somocismo, its Model; we knew and lived in the 80s; we also knew what life was like in the 90s, when we entered the phase of the neoliberal governments. 16 years of exploitation, 16 years of misery that Nicaraguans lived through.
We are also at the stage and there are people are going to tell me I do not know Comandante Daniel Ortega; of course I know him, I know where he comes from, what his struggle has been, what his Leadership has been allowing us to trust him and with loyalty to the Sandinista Front.
From 2007 to the time we are currently in, our Municipality has restored all the Rights, Free Health Care and Education, the 40 emblematic programs of the FSLN, which are, streets, roads, housing, for our Youth all the opportunities that they have, the spaces available to them them without paying a cent, apart from the willingness to participate.
They have also been participating in the Trade Schools, in INATEC, and how Entrepreneurship and Commercial fairs have been developed in Sébaco, how Sports Infrastructure are being created.
We used to come to the communities of Molino Sur, Aguas Arcas, and the sports fields were abandoned, they were grazing land. Our government has given us good conditions of infrastructure.
We enjoy a good Football Stadium; we also enjoy Baseball Stadiums; we have organized all the different categories in all the sports disciplines in the municipalities, and those are all spaces that our Good Government has made possible and guaranteed to everyone.
How can we not be so proud of the entrepreneurial sector, of the trade sector; men and women too who work hard every day and conditions now are very different from those previous years.
But always here the golpistas wanted to carry out their coup; Sébaco was besieged, it was one of the hardest hit municipalities, but here we resisted, here we gave the fight in this Municipality, and with discipline.
Compañero Pedro Haslam was could see the disciplined actions we took in order to defend ourselves. We gave them a lesson and I am sure that those coup plotters in Sébaco will never forget it and they will never return to this Municipality.
They will never return because the response is overwhelming from all sectors of People President; they mistreated us, tortured us, killed compañeros, vandalized trade, attacked our Peace when attacking the Revolution is a sin because it has cost us blood, the defense of years and years ago, but always with the wise leadership of Comandante Daniel Ortega and Compañero Rosario Murillo we came out ahead.
And we are in 2026, with more Victories, celebrating victories, inaugurating projects in each of our places, communities and Neighborhoods. In Sébaco you can see the development, you can look at it, you can feel it. Sébaco is not like in the 1970s or 1980s anymore. Sébaco is transformed.
Our Young People showed in our National Holidays the reflection of happiness, the reflection of them as their parents looked on, all parading under a shining Sun, and that was on display in all the Schools of our Municipality.
Therefore, we come with all clarity, with every clarity, with no doubt at all, or any prevarication, we come with Loyalty, to ratify these Constitutional Reforms, and to support them forcefully, as a People President.
Let's give a round of applause because they are our Security, our Stability in our Municipality, and the Peace that all Nicaraguans long for which can only be guaranteed by Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario Murillo. We are going for more Victories, and so we are going onward along Routes of Victories.

Coordinator for the Maternal Shelter in San Isidro
My name is Bernarda Orozco Urrutia from the Santo Domingo Community, Municipality of San Isidro. It makes me proud to be in this place occupying this space, to thank first of all God and our Comandante Daniel Ortega and Compañera Rosario Murillo.
Because they are the ones who have opened these spaces for us to participate and the participation is to let us all know the achievements that have been obtained in our Nicaragua.
In our Municipality of San Isidro, I am Responsible for the Maternal Shelter on San Isidro, and trained as a Midwife; given my responsibility I want to tell you the achievements that have been obtained in Maternal Mortality.
It has been reduced, because before the 80s there were no Maternity Shelters; now here there are Maternity Shelters which are houses where pregnant women come at 36 weeks to be sheltered with their accommodation, their food and also their Medical Care, where they are given ultrasounds, and have Gynecological Care, among other attention.
My enthusiasm is to be here sharing with the Compañeros and Compañeras of the people of Sébaco because we love each other as Brothers, and we have these achievements of the Compañero and Compañera President, and we are supporting the Constitution and the Reforms to move onward and not take a step back; to continue with our Victory forever.

Good afternoon Colleagues of our National Assembly and all those present; I am Doctor Maryuri Roa, from the Tomás Borge Martínez Health Center, Sébaco.
Today I feel happy to be a witness of this historic event, where we, as the Ministry of Health, fully support the Partial Reform of the Political Constitution of Nicaragua, a Law that will guarantee they Stability, Security and Peace of the Nicaraguan people.
This comes to strengthen our Family and Community Health Model, which brings Health to everyone from the most populated Neighborhoods to the most distant Communities of our Municipality.
Today the people of Sebaco feel proud, proud; 15 Health Posts, a Maternal Shelter, a Health Center with beds, a Rehabilitation area and a Physiotherapy Center.
Today the people of Sebaco concretely support and as the Ministry of Health we say: Not one step back!

Today I would like to recall for you that I have some information from my grandparents, uncles and parents about how they studied before, because they were participants then, but because they privatized education and could not take studies further.
Today I come to tell you, thanks to our Good Government, because all young people and adults can study, we have many opportunities to continue studying. That's why, on behalf of the FES and the Sandinista Youth, I say to our Comandante and Compañera Rosario Murillo, thank you very much.

It is an honor to receive this Special Commission of the National Assembly, my name is Luis Carlos Úbeda, I am a Representative of the Commercial Sector of Sébaco, I ratify my support for these Reforms of the National Assembly.
Sébaco is a municipality that sets out every day to work hard, we have merchants, farmers, producers here, and it is a very strong axis of development at the national level. Ieven without going to the rural communities, on the road you can see all the development our Municipality has had.
We also perceive those emblematic Projects promoted by our Government, such as free health care, free education, better streets for the People. That is why we ratify our support for this Reform, the support for our Good Government, to create stability, security, and above all Peace.

Good morning, National Assembly in general, Compañeros Mayors, Compañeros and Compañeras present from the two Municipalities of San Isidro and Sébaco.
My name is Juan Antonio Mendoza Orozco, I’m a professional boxer. First of all, thank God for everything, then thanks to our Comandante Daniel Ortega, our Compañera Rosario Murillo, and all the Municipal authorities in general.
I am going to make a small summary of what boxing has been like in our beautiful Nicaragua, from yesterday's time to today's time.
We know that in the times when elite boxing dominated in Nicaragua, our Champion Alexis Argüello, our Two-time Champion Rosendo Álvarez, we know that, in those times, Brothers, there was no infrastructure, there were no boxing gyms; if there were a few in different Municipalities of our country, it was a lot.
But today, thanks be to God and to our Good Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, our Comandante Daniel Ortega and our Compañera Rosario Murillo, we have Boxing Gyms in all corners of our country, where learning is free, and all it needs is the willingness of each of us as young people, to get ahead and to go out to represent our Countries in a dignified way across all of Latin America, and across the whole World in general.
So, because of those things, how am I not going to support, how are we not going to support the Reform? Of course, we accept and defend and support with dignity the National Constitutional Reform, for our beautiful Nicaragua, for a Dignified, Free, Blessed and Always Sovereign Country. For more victories.

Good morning, Brothers and Sisters who are here. At this moment we would like to greet Compañero Gustavo Porras, President of the National Assembly of Nicaragua. We also greet the Compañeros and Compañeras Members of the Assembly.
We are honored by you today, because it is the first time that you are visiting the Municipality of Sébaco, and that for us is a great honor and a joy.
My name is Gerardo Ismael Dávila Lazo, from the Community of La Conchita, Municipality of Sébaco, Department of Matagalpa.
We have come to participate here and make a little history; but we have to salute, as I was saying, this great Municipal Assembly of Citizens of the People President.
I want to tell you that I am here on behalf of small producers, because the big ones represent themselves.
So, we want to explain, to tell you some history, and we also explain, later on, our support for the Constitutional Reforms that you and we are working on here.
We want to tell you that history must be remembered, because People who forget history are condemned to repeat their mistakes. So, we must tell you how Sébaco was and how the 153 Municipalities of our Country were, and the 14 Municipalities of the Department of Matagalpa.
What Sébaco had was only the name of the City, it was a billboard and a sign that was there by the main entrance of wherever you looked at it whenever you entered.
Now, Sébaco is indeed dignified, Sébaco is a developed city, with commerce, with agriculture, with progress, with development. You only need to take a small tour and you are going to find, practically, the transformation and you are going to find the advancement, the progress and the development that has been manifested here and that takes place daily.
But now to a bit of history, in fact, we want to tell you how those previous Governments worked and how they mismanaged, and how they tortured and massacred the People, not only with beatings, but also economically and denying progress.
We cannot forget how the destroyed roads were, the road that goes from Sébaco to Matagalpa, the road that went from Sébaco to Las Segovias, to Managua or to the North of Nicaragua. They were roads that had potholes and when they passed over them the vehicles were destroyed; how hard we had to work and how on earth we survived with those blackouts that occurred in the past.
Sébaco was a small expression, a small example of what it was in all the 153 Municipalities. That's why we who know history, as someone who preceded me said, live a long time, I'm 70-something years old, and I really know history a lot, because I've lived it and because I've also sometimes studied it.
So we come here, with love, with affection, we come to support those Constitutional Reforms that we have here, because we want to keep moving forward, we want to keep progressing, because we want to give you the legal and juridical tools, for you and for the People, so that our President, our Comandante, can continue to exercise and work with all the legality needed to do so, both inside and outside the country.
We come to support and ask our Colleagues to give us the opportunity to continue developing.
Today we feel happy and content because we have financing from the Banks, we have financing more than anything from the Programs promoted by the Government of Nicaragua.
Through Zero Usury, through the ADELANTE Program, when financing is given with fair Interests, and not as in the previous times, when they foreclosed on us, made us mortgage our houses, mortgage a vehicle, car, van and whatever it was, they took it at the first opportunity whatever it was, and they took it the first chance they had and left one with nothing. Brothers and Sisters, that is why Brothers and Sisters we come here to support the Constitutional Reforms in your first and second terms. So as to give the Comandante the continuity to continue taking the People of Nicaragua forward. Thank you very much and welcome to Sébaco.

Good morning, Honorable Deputies of the National Assembly, President People who are present today; my name is Harry Zamora, I am a Student of Civil Engineering, of the UNICAM flagship Program.
First of all, I want to say to our Co-Presidents, thank you for allowing us to have very good quality access, thank you because you are fulfilling our dreams, those dreams which we used to have to go to Universities in other Departments to realize.
Today we get quality education, today the University is in our Communities, today the University is in our neighborhoods, it comes to us for free, and this is a restitution of Rights for the Nicaraguan people, because there are no age limits to continue learning.
We are grateful for the Restitution of Rights, those Rights that during the period of Neoliberal Governments had been taken from us, our Rights had been plundered, the Sovereignty of our Country had been plundered.
Today, thanks to our Government, our Rights in Health, Sports, Education and many other things have been restored to us. That is why, in this month of September, Patriotic month, we celebrate our Battle of San Jacinto and our Independence as Central America.
We have come to support the Reform, to the Constitution of Nicaragua, because we know that this Reform comes to strengthen the Institutions of our Country.
That is why, on behalf of UNICAM, we say that we are moving forward, we are always going onward with the Sandinista Front.

Good morning Compañero Gustavo Porras, President of our National Assembly; likewise to the Compañeros and Compañeras Deputies who preside over the Bureau, Compañero Haslam, the Authorities and the People of Sébaco. My name is Arlen María Castillo, a teacher from this city.
In 2007, our President, Comandante Daniel Ortega Saavedra, declared free education, and from that moment, came the transformations so important in our Educational System.
In this way, the Restitutions of Rights that had been denied by the Liberal Governments were reinstated; and a series of Emblematic Projects that are currently still continuing, such as the Emblematic School Meals Program; more than 6,000 Students from this Municipality of Sébaco, are Protagonists of this Program.
Likewise, we have the Presidential Bonus Program that our Good Government grants to the Families of Children in First and Second Grade of Initial Education, the Bonus to our High School Graduates, and the Special Bonus to our Teachers.
It should be noted Compañeros and Compañeras, that currently we in this Municipality have 400 trained Teachers, updated in different Seminars, Graduates of different Courses and Trainings.
We also have 45 Schools, mostly rehabilitated by the hand of our Municipal Mayor and our Good Government of Reconciliation and National Unity.
Therefore, there are two important events that took place and are taking place during this stage of the Revolution, when we were declared a Territory Free of Illiteracy, and when we were declared a Territory Free of Empiricism.
This process that led to this Declaration, is not only for all the earlier exclusion, but because our Good Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, hand in hand with Comandante Daniel and as our Compañera has said, education is the fundamental pillar for social transformations.
Education is the fundamental pillar for the fight against poverty, for full human development, and also for Peace. That's why we all as the Ministry of Education, our Compañeros and Compañeras who are here, Students, we ratify, we support and not only that, we also accompany this Consultation Process to the Constitutional Reforms.
We have the commitment as Students, as Teachers that these Reforms be reflected in our classrooms and in our educational environments, in our teaching practice. Because if we want Education for everyone, quality education, Equity, Inclusion, training in Values and our Identity, Constitutional Reforms are the way. Thank you very much, Compañeros and Compañeras.

On these dates of Patriotic Celebration for our Country, we meet to remember our Past, value our present, and firmly renew our commitment to the Future of our country.
Good afternoon everyone, my name is Rosanelis Centeno, a native, proudly from the Municipality which saw the birth of Players who, in '72 signed an epic moment in the Sports History of our Country.
From that Municipality where he was born to the one who hit the home run in the fourth episode against Cuba, and gave us that Victory leaving Nicaragua in the third place. Where the Short Stop Marvelous Jarquín was born, and which he saw pitcher Federico Pineda play.
I am originally proud of San Isidro Matagalpa with the scent of guava, land of Professional Athletes, peasant working people, combative women and children who day by day work these fields to bring sustenance and sustainability to my Municipality.
In this space I come to explain that I am a Technical Education Teacher, however, the Government has incessantly contributed to the improvements and rehabilitation of the Center where I work, where I proudly work at the Comandante Tomás Borge Technological Center which bears the name of a worker, of the Sandinista Front.
In addition, they are Basketball Athletes, and have been included in all these spaces that the Sandinista Government has provided, such as the Luisa Amanda Espinoza League that has been active for 12 years; and this can only happen with our Good Government.
A Restitution of Rights where one sees that women can also participate and develop sports, because women also have the Right to play sports. In Technical Education we have witnessed the restoration of teaching spaces, continuous training for all our Teachers and Administrative Staff.
Proudly, on behalf of the Athletes and my People of San Isidro, especially the Technological Community of the Town of San Isidro, today we support the Partial Reform of the Political Constitution of Nicaragua which will bring us stability, Security and Peace.

Good morning, for the reception I would say to such an honorable presence here in this park, the Executive Board of the National Assembly was not honored. Perhaps out of humility or maybe because people are sunburned, cramped, dehydrated.
We were about two hours waiting for you, Doctor Porras, Doctor Edwin. I have to be brief, just to congratulate you, give each of you an embrace, if I may. I'm just another supporter of the Sandinista Front, my mother was too and she supported the guerrillas.
My father was neutral in not participating because my father was highly regarded by some people he met, like Comandante Carlos Fonseca. The Comandante gave him an inheritance, a gift so that he could listen to those beautiful songs, although we had to listen to them almost inside a hiding place of Comandante Carlos, inside a shelter, that protest music of Comandante Carlos Fonseca, and of Sandino.
I say to my beautiful and beautiful land everyone loves you as our father, everyone wishes this land to continue being what it is, a great wonder and a great brightness for the world.
It makes others envious and they accuse us of being the most feeble, the poorest and perhaps even the dumbest; but we are not, by the grace of God.
Blessings, and thank you for your presence, and I know that the presence of the Comandante and the Compañera is live and I want to give them both a big embrace, in person one day, if I am given the opportunity. Legislators thank you, thank you People, thank you Sébaco.

Today, September 16th 2026 is a day of Gratitude, of Pride, a day of Honor for our Municipalities because we have the Legislators of our People, our People President in these Municipalities visiting us. They fill us with pride and satisfaction.
Today, this date invites and obliges us to look at our roots, to honor the blood of our ancestors from our Chieftains Diriangén, Nicarao, Adiact, to our Brothers the Archers of Matagalpa, who fought the Battles of Independence and who have allowed us, through our Heroes and Martyrs, to be enjoying this Peace today, and supporting our Leadership, our Comandante Daniel Ortega and our Compañera Rosario Murillo.
To our Deputies present here and to all our People, in order to carry out this Reform, who are the guarantors of our Dignity, Sovereignty, Self-determination and guarantors of Peace, of the achievements and Rights that have been achieved throughout this history.
This morning, Brothers and Sisters, is a working table where myself Marcos Antonio Dávila Lazo, in my capacity as Cacique of the Indigenous People of the Sébaco Valley, together with my People, we formally, forcefully and effectively ratify the Reforms to the Constitution of our Nation to continue defending the Dignity, Justice, Sovereignty and Independence of our Peoples.
These dates are historical, they will pass to our pages of history forever. My name is Junaicy Guardado Orozco, I am a representative of the High School Student Federation and the July 19th Sandinista Youth of our Municipality of Sébaco.
There is something very important that I have to tell you, this Youth, these Students on this day we ratify and support this Partial Reform of the Political Constitution of the Republic of Nicaragua, because we are grateful for each of the benefits that our Good Government has given us to this day.
How Education and the spaces given to Youth have advanced, both in Sports, Academically and Culturally. How we have advanced! Today this Youth President is with the People, it is with our Good Government, and we are very grateful. Today we are all united as one family.

Good morning Compañeras and Compañeros Deputies who are visiting us in San Isidro and Sébaco; good morning Compañeras and Compañeros, I come from the Cooperative of Augusto C. Sandino Rice Farmers, we honor our General Sandino, we always stand firm. We are a group of Rice Producers where we have seen the achievements that the rice producers of the Valley of Sébaco and San Isidro have had.
In those earlier times, we went through blackouts, where we could not irrigate the rice because there were many blackouts, now there is stability in Energy. To prepare the land we had to buy the most expensive fuel.
Now there is price stability in fuel, we have several years of this now and it has directly benefited us. So, we are grateful to our Comandante Daniel, to our Compañera Rosario and to the National Assembly because that is where the Laws are approved.
That is why today we have come to support the Constitutional Reform and here we are ready to continue fighting for Peace, for Stability and for Sovereignty; because we are Sovereign Nicaraguans as Sandino showed us, as Sandino taught us, then, we continue that struggle which we continue to support.
We thank God and all the Compañeras and Compañeros Leaders of the National Assembly who support us. So, we send a greeting to Comandante Daniel from Sébaco, San Isidro, and Compañera Rosario.

Good morning Compañer@s, to everyone in general, my name is Mailyng María Dávila Calderón, I come from San Isidro to support the Reforms that our Government is promoting. Why support them? So that there will be Peace, so that there will be Tranquility, so that the Projects continue to be developed for the benefit of everyone, not for a few, but for the Common Good.
Today we see in our country beautiful roads where we can transport produce and people in general; likewise, today we can see in our country large well-equipped hospitals where we can all go to be treated, not just one class of people.
In my personal case, my Mother is a Teacher who worked for the Ministry of Education for 65 years and was diagnosed with cancer, and thanks to the Projects of this Government, my Mother was able to go outside of Nicaragua, be cared for, then come to Nicaragua and get the benefit of the Chemotherapy Projects.
During the neoliberal governments, I remember, my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer, what was she told at La Trinidad? That there was no access for her to receive chemo, and my grandmother died more than 25 years ago.
Today I am here, and I tell you, today in Nicaragua we can see countless Maternal Shelters, where women from the Communities go and are cared for.
So, we can see Brothers and Sisters, how many Universities there are and they are free, anyone who does not study is because they do not want to; I tell you that I was a Student in the time that Dr. Arnoldo Alemán won.
I was a leader of the Student Government in San Isidro and just because I was a Sandinista, I was expelled, I had to study clandestinely in other Municipalities. Today I tell you, that is why we are here, to ratify all these Projects that are for the benefit of everyone, Brothers and Sisters.
I urge our Brothers and Sisters who are ideologically opposed because they do not think the same as us, not to be separate, but to look at the benefit for all, not just a few, that our country is growing.
That's why today we are here and we say, here we are Comandante, here we are Co-President, here is your People who support you.

Good afternoon everyone, may the Lord bless you, I come from the Ministry of Sébaco, it is a privilege for us to support this Reform and I think it is not superfluous to say that our Country can be seen because it shines out.
We have seen all the support we have had as a Church, the opportunity to preach the Gospel without having restrictions or anything, to bring books from abroad without any problem, since at one time it was said that we did not have access, but we do, and we can prove it.
We are people who bring Literature to share and bring the Word of God to every person. So we absolutely reaffirm this Reform, and we say, let's go ahead and ask for God's Peace for us, and also Wisdom from our Government so that we can move forward. God Bless You.

Good afternoon, Compañeras and Compañeros, and Honourable Members, beloved Doctor Porras, Pedro Haslam. I'm Olivia, Secretary of FETSALUD in the Municipality of San Isidro.
On behalf of FETSALUD, of the health workers of the Municipality of San Isidro, we come to ratify this Constitutional Reform Law. With 35 years of working at the Ministry of Health when we saw that Health was privatized.
We did not have Health Care in our Nicaragua; now Health Care is free, we have Health Care with the Family and Community Health Model that reaches every corner of our country. I think that all the Compañeros who spoke about Health Care, know that we do indeed have Health Care even in the very last corners of our Country. We have good Hospitals, with prestigious good Hospitals, CAT scans, and performing all kinds of Special Examinations.
What more can we ask of God if we have everything we now have in our country? Only with our Comandante Daniel and with our Compañera Rosario Murillo do we have these achievements, with this Government.
We don't have to think about it... We ratify this Law, we ratify on behalf of all Health and FETSALUD Workers here. We tell our Comandante, Let's keep going for more Victories!

Today is the birthday of our Brother, our Guide, Martiniano Aguilar, 49 years old who fell in combat in an ambush by the Somoza Guard there in the Kiwaska area.
We are going to pay tribute to our Facunda González, who about three weeks ago passed to another Plane of Life; she was a survivor of the Women of El Cuá, from there also of El Tuma-La Dalia and Rancho Grande.
Then we will be later, on Friday, in Matiguás, in the morning; in the afternoon we will be in Ciudad Darío with the Brothers and Sisters from Ciudad Darío and Terrabona. And we conclude on Saturday morning in the Municipality of San Ramón, where we are going to be with the Brothers and Sisters of the People President of Esquipulas, San Dionisio and San Ramón. And I forgot that tomorrow we are in Matagalpa Municipality, also in the afternoon, to give continuity to these Sessions which have been mandated by our Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario, Co-President of the Republic, to reaffirm and ratify that this Power is held by the People, that this Power is held by the Youth, that this Power is held by Nicaragua’s Families, to continue advancing on Routes of Prosperity, to continue consolidating the Peace, Stability and Security of Nicaraguan Families.
