Discurso del Presidente Xi Jinping en la conmemoración del 105.º Aniversario de la fundación del Partido Comunista de China
(1 de julio de 2026)
Camaradas, amigos:
Hoy nos reunimos solemnemente para celebrar el 105.º aniversario de la fundación del Partido Comunista de China , recordar el glorioso camino recorrido por nuestro Partido, contemplar las brillantes perspectivas del desarrollo de la causa del Partido y del pueblo, y movilizar a todo el Partido ya los pueblos de todos los grupos étnicos del país para que, con plena confianza, avancen con valentía hacia el gran objetivo de construir integralmente una poderosa nación socialista moderna y realidad el gran rejuvenecimiento de la hacer nación china.
En primer lugar, en nombre del Comité Central del Partido, extendiendo mis saludos con motivo de esta celebración a todos los miembros del Partido Comunista de China. Asimismo, expreso mis más cálidas felicitaciones a los condecorados con la Medalla del 1 de Julio, así como a los miembros ejemplares del Partido, a los destacados trabajadores de los asuntos partidarios y las organizaciones de base avanzadas que han sido reconocidas a nivel nacional.

Hace 105 años, en medio del gran despertar del pueblo chino y de la nación china, y como resultado de la estrecha integración del marxismo-leninismo con el movimiento obrero chino, nació el Partido Comunista de China. Desde entonces, el pueblo chino y la nación china contaron con su más firme columna vertebral, y una China agobiada por las dificultades internas y externas, la pobreza y la debilidad inició una transformación histórica de dimensiones extraordinarias.
Durante estos 105 años, nuestro Partido ha permanecido fiel a su misión original de procurar la felicidad para el pueblo chino y el rejuvenecimiento de la nación china. Ha comprendido profundamente las tendencias del desarrollo mundial, ha captado con precisión los cambios en las principales contradicciones sociales de cada etapa histórica y ha unido y guiado incansablemente a los pueblos de todas las etnias del país en una lucha constante, logrando grandes realizaciones en la revolución de nueva democracia, la revolución y construcción socialistas, la reforma y apertura junto con la construcción de la modernización socialista, y el socialismo con características chinas en la nueva era, escribiendo así la epopeya más grandiosa de varios milenios de historia de la nación china.
Los 105 años de lucha incesante han transformado de manera fundamental el destino del pueblo chino. Bajo la dirección del Partido, el pueblo libró grandes luchas de enorme magnitud, derrocó las tres grandes fuerzas del imperialismo, el feudalismo y el capitalismo burocrático, fundó una Nueva China donde el pueblo es el dueño del país, puso fin por completo a la historia de la vieja China como sociedad semicolonial y semifeudal, y logró un salto histórico en el nivel de vida del pueblo, pasando de la insuficiencia en alimentación y vestido a una sociedad modestamente acomodada en términos generales y, posteriormente, a una sociedad modestamente acomodada en todos los aspectos. Hoy, el pueblo chino tiene firmemente su destino en sus propias manos y avanza con confianza, independencia y fortaleza hacia un futuro aún más prometedor.
Los 105 años de lucha incesante abrieron el camino correcto para hacer realidad el gran rejuvenecimiento de la nación china. En las grandes prácticas de la revolución, la construcción, la reforma y la nueva era, nuestro Partido condujo al pueblo a superar incontables dificultades y abrió con éxito, manteniendo firmemente, el camino del socialismo con características chinas. En apenas unas décadas recorrió el proceso de industrialización que a los países desarrollados les tomó varios siglos, creando los dos grandes milagros del rápido desarrollo económico y la estabilidad social duradera. Hoy, el gran rejuvenecimiento de la nación china es una fuerza incontenible y muestra perspectivas más brillantes que nunca.
Los 105 años de lucha incesante han demostrado la extraordinaria vitalidad del marxismo. Nuestro Partido ha persistido en combinar los principios fundamentales del marxismo con la realidad concreta de China y con la excelente cultura tradicional china, promoviendo continuamente la adaptación del marxismo al contexto chino y a las exigencias de los tiempos. De este proceso surgieron el Pensamiento de Mao Zedong, la Teoría de Deng Xiaoping, el importante pensamiento de la Triple Representatividad, la Concepción Científica del Desarrollo y el Pensamiento sobre el Socialismo con Características Chinas para la Nueva Era, enriqueciendo y desarrollando enormemente el marxismo. Hoy, la vigorosa vitalidad y el dinamismo de la causa del socialismo con características chinas demuestran plenamente el carácter científico y la veracidad del marxismo, ponen de manifiesto su orientación hacia el pueblo y su carácter práctico, y resaltan plenamente su apertura y su vigencia para nuestra época.
Los 105 años de lucha incesante han influido profundamente en el curso de la historia mundial. Nuestro Partido siempre se ha situado del lado correcto de la historia y del progreso de la civilización humana, transformando profundamente las tendencias y la configuración del desarrollo mundial mediante una lucha constante basada en la superación personal. Hoy, bajo la dirección del Partido, el pueblo impulsa la modernización al estilo chino, crea una nueva forma de civilización humana y amplía las vías para que los países en desarrollo alcancen la modernización. Promovemos la construcción de una comunidad de futuro compartido para la humanidad y aportamos la sabiduría, las propuestas y la fuerza de China para afrontar los grandes desafíos de la humanidad. La China socialista dirigida por el Partido es ampliamente reconocida como constructora de la paz mundial, contribuyente al desarrollo global y defensora del orden internacional.
Los 105 años de lucha incesante han forjado un Partido Comunista de China fuerte. Nuestro Partido siempre ha tenido presentes la naturaleza, el propósito y los objetivos de lucha propios de un partido marxista; ha promovido vigorosamente el gran espíritu fundacional del Partido; ha salido fortalecido de las adversidades y se ha templado mediante innumerables pruebas. Hoy, nuestro Partido se ha convertido en el mayor partido gobernante del mundo, con una influencia global de gran importancia. Cuenta con el sincero respaldo y apoyo del pueblo, constituye el sólido núcleo dirigente de la causa del socialismo con características chinas y es plenamente digno de ser considerado un gran Partido, glorioso y correcto.

Todos los logros alcanzados durante estos 105 años son el resultado de la lucha incansable de generación tras generación de comunistas chinos, quienes, unidos, han guiado al pueblo chino hacia adelante. Los comunistas chinos, representados principalmente por el camarada Mao Zedong, el camarada Deng Xiaoping, el camarada Jiang Zemin y el camarada Hu Jintao, realizaron contribuciones extraordinarias e imborrables para el gran reju-venecimiento de la nación china. ¡Les expresamos nuestro más alto respeto!
En este momento, recordamos con profunda emoción a los revolucionarios de la generación anterior, como los camaradas Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De, Deng Xiaoping, Chen Yun y el camarada Jiang Zemin. Recordamos también con profundo respeto a los mártires revolucionarios y a todas las personas de elevados ideales que, uno tras otro, sacrificaron sus vidas y realizaron enormes contribuciones por la independencia nacional, la liberación del pueblo, la prosperidad del país y la felicidad del pueblo. Sus grandes méritos en favor de la nación y del país quedarán inscritos para siempre en la historia. ¡Su elevado espíritu permanecerá eternamente grabado en el corazón de cientos de millones de personas!
El pueblo es el creador de la historia y el verdadero héroe. En nombre del Comité Central del Partido, expreso aquí mi más alto respeto a todo el pueblo del país y a las personas de todos los sectores sociales que luchan en los distintos frentes de trabajo. Extiendo mis más sinceros saludos a los compatriotas de la Región Administrativa Especial de Hong Kong, de la Región Administrativa Especial de Macao, a los compatriotas de Taiwán y a los chinos residentes en el extranjero. Asimismo, expreso mi más sincero agradecimiento a los pueblos y amigos de todos los países que mantienen relaciones de amistad con el pueblo chino y que se han preocupado y han brindado su apoyo a la revolución, la construcción y la reforma de China.

La razón por la que el Partido Comunista de China ha podido forjar continuamente nuevos logros durante sus 105 años de lucha, y la razón por la que la historia y el pueblo eligieron al Partido Comunista de China, radica fundamentalmente en que nuestro Partido posee cualidades sobresalientes incomparables con las de cualquier otro partido o fuerza política.
— La firme búsqueda de la verdad y el mantenimiento constante del rumbo correcto. Nuestro Partido ha tomado el marxismo como una poderosa herramienta ideológica para transformar tanto el mundo subjetivo como el objetivo. Ha persistido en emancipar la mente, buscar la verdad a partir de los hechos, avanzar con los tiempos y actuar con pragmatismo. Ha prestado especial atención a descubrir y aplicar la verdad en el desarrollo de las contradicciones sociales, ha sabido comprobarla y desarrollarla mediante la práctica y ha utilizado continuamente nuevas teorías para orientar nuevas prácticas, garantizando que la causa del Partido y del pueblo avance siempre por el camino correcto.
— El profundo arraigo en el pueblo y una base sólida e inquebrantable. Nuestro Partido siempre ha tenido presente que el país pertenece al pueblo y que el pueblo constituye el país. Ha mantenido el principio de fundar el Partido para el interés público y gobernar en beneficio del pueblo, ha practicado conscientemente el propósito fundamental de servir al pueblo de todo corazón y ha permanecido firmemente junto al pueblo, pensando y actuando con él, consolidando así una base sólida que ninguna tormenta puede sacudir.
— La valentía para asumir la misión histórica y mantener siempre la iniciativa estratégica. Nuestro Partido alberga el elevado ideal del comunismo y está comprometido con la gran causa del rejuvenecimiento eterno de la nación china. Ha asumido con firmeza las responsabilidades que la historia y el pueblo le han encomendado, ha mantenido la unidad entre los objetivos de largo plazo y los objetivos por etapas, ha establecido las tareas centrales conforme a la evolución de las principales contradicciones sociales y ha formulado e implementado correctamente las líneas, directrices y políticas necesarias para asegurar el control y la iniciativa en el desarrollo de la causa del Partido y del país.
— La adaptación a la corriente del desarrollo y el liderazgo constante de los tiempos. Nuestro Partido mantiene una elevada conciencia histórica y una amplia visión del mundo. Comprende con claridad las condiciones nacionales de China y los temas centrales de cada época; responde activamente a los cambios, se adapta a ellos y promueve nuevas transformaciones; avanza con determinación e innovación, procurando que todas las tareas del Partido reflejen las características de los tiempos, respeten las leyes del desarrollo y posean un espíritu creativo. De este modo, guía al país y a la nación para avanzar conforme a la lógica del progreso histórico y al ritmo del desarrollo de la época, convirtiéndose con pleno derecho en el pionero de su tiempo y en la columna vertebral de la nación.
— La capacidad y la determinación para luchar, manteniendo siempre la confianza en la victoria. Nuestro Partido ha preservado y promovido el espíritu de no temer al sacrificio y de luchar con valentía. Por el pueblo, por la nación, por el Estado y por sus ideales y convicciones, ha superado obstáculos y dificultades con perseverancia. Sin importar cuán poderoso sea el enemigo, cuán difícil sea el camino o cuán severos sean los desafíos, nunca ha sentido temor ni ha retrocedido. Con una voluntad de acero, firme e inquebrantable frente a cualquier tempestad, ha inspirado al pueblo de todo el país a avanzar de victoria en victoria.
— La atención permanente al fortalecimiento interno y el mantenimiento constante de su vitalidad. Nuestro Partido comprende claramente que, para forjar el hierro, primero hay que ser fuerte. Sabe examinarse a sí mismo conforme a las exigencias del desarrollo de los tiempos, mantenerse alerta con un profundo sentido de responsabilidad frente a los riesgos y perfeccionarse mediante el espíritu de la autorrevolución. Concede gran importancia a su propia construcción, elimina resueltamente todos los factores que perjudican su carácter avanzado y su pureza, así como todo aquello que corroe la salud de su organización, fortaleciéndose continuamente a través de un proceso permanente de transformación revolucionaria.
Estas cualidades sobresalientes constituyen la clave fundamental que explica por qué el Partido Comunista de China ha logrado sus éxitos. Debemos, a la luz de las nuevas circunstancias, seguir desarrollando y fortaleciendo estas cualidades, asegurando que el Partido jamás cambie de naturaleza, de orientación ni de esencia, y que conserve siempre una poderosa capacidad de creación, cohesión y combate.

«Los grandes logros nacen de una firme voluntad; las grandes empresas se alcanzan mediante la dedicación constante». Cumplir la misión y las tareas del Partido en la nueva era y en el nuevo recorrido exige que todos los comunistas chinos mantengan una firme confianza, continúen luchando sin descanso y creen constantemente nuevos logros dignos de nuestra época y de nuestro pueblo.
— Mantener una firme confianza y continuar luchando exige perseverar en la teoría fundamental, la línea fundamental y la estrategia fundamental del Partido. La teoría fundamental, la línea fundamental y la estrategia fundamental del Partido constituyen importantes logros alcanzados por el Partido y el pueblo tras arduas exploraciones y representan la guía fundamental para la causa del Partido y del Estado. En el nuevo recorrido, todo el Partido debe mantener inalterables su camino y su determinación, sostener la dirección integral del Partido y la dirección centralizada y unificada del Comité Central, aplicar profundamente el Pensamiento sobre el Socialismo con Características Chinas para la Nueva Era, fortalecer la confianza en el camino, en la teoría, en el sistema y en la cultura del socialismo con características chinas; continuar la obra iniciada por las generaciones anteriores e innovar sobre la base de los principios fundamentales, sin dejarse confundir por las apariencias ni perder el rumbo al afrontar el viento y las olas.
— Mantener una firme confianza y continuar luchando exige apoyarse estrechamente en el pueblo para crear nuevas gestas históricas. Persistir y desarrollar el socialismo con características chinas constituye una causa común de todo el Partido y de los pueblos de todas las etnias del país. En el nuevo recorrido, todo el Partido debe fortalecer aún más el espíritu emprendedor y la voluntad de actuar, unir y conducir a los pueblos de todas las etnias del país para avanzar con iniciativa, impulsar de manera coordinada la disposición general de los «Cinco en Uno» y la estrategia integral de los «Cuatro Aspectos», aplicar de manera completa, precisa e integral el nuevo concepto de desarrollo, acelerar la construcción de un nuevo patrón de desarrollo e impulsar sólidamente un desarrollo de alta calidad. Debemos practicar el pensamiento de desarrollo centrado en el pueblo, desarrollar la democracia popular de proceso completo, consolidar y fortalecer continuamente la gran unidad de todas las etnias, de todo el pueblo chino y de todos los hijos e hijas de la nación china, estimulando plenamente la iniciativa, el entusiasmo y la creatividad de cientos de millones de personas, para reunir una fuerza poderosa que impulse la modernización al estilo chino.
— Mantener una firme confianza y continuar luchando exige responder activamente a los riesgos y desafíos en el camino hacia adelante. El desarrollo de nuestro país atraviesa una etapa en la que coexisten oportunidades estratégicas y riesgos, mientras aumentan los factores inciertos e imprevisibles. Debemos estar preparados en todo momento para afrontar pruebas de gran magnitud, incluso tempestades de extraordinaria intensidad. En el nuevo recorrido, todo el Partido debe fortalecer la conciencia frente a los riesgos, mantener un pensamiento basado en las líneas de seguridad, promover el espíritu de lucha y mejorar la capacidad para afrontar desafíos, coordinar mejor los escenarios nacional e internacional, armonizar el desarrollo con la seguridad y fortalecer la capacidad para prever científicamente los cambios, detectar oportunamente los riesgos y responder eficazmente a los desafíos, garantizando que el gran navío del rejuvenecimiento de la nación china continúe avanzando con firmeza y estabilidad, superando el viento y las olas.
— Mantener una firme confianza y continuar luchando exige impulsar de manera constante la construcción de una comunidad de futuro compartido para la humanidad. A medida que los profundos cambios sin precedentes en un siglo se aceleran, el mundo ha entrado en un nuevo período de turbulencias y transformaciones, y la humanidad vuelve a encontrarse en una encrucijada sobre su rumbo futuro. En el nuevo recorrido, debemos responder a las aspiraciones de los pueblos y a la tendencia general de los tiempos, enarbolar las banderas de la paz, el desarrollo, la cooperación y el beneficio mutuo, promover los valores comunes de toda la humanidad, fomentar la construcción de un nuevo tipo de relaciones internacionales e impulsar la implementación de la Iniciativa para el Desarrollo Global, la Iniciativa para la Seguridad Global, la Iniciativa para la Civilización Global y la Iniciativa para la Gobernanza Global, aportando más energía positiva a la paz y al desarrollo del mundo.
— Mantener una firme confianza y continuar luchando exige promover de manera perseverante la gobernanza integral y rigurosa del Partido. La gobernanza integral y estricta del Partido es una tarea permanente. En el nuevo recorrido, debemos aplicar plenamente el pensamiento sobre la construcción del Partido en la nueva era y poner en práctica los requisitos generales para la construcción partidaria en esta nueva etapa, orientándonos a fortalecer la capacidad del Partido para ejercer un gobierno duradero, preservar su carácter avanzado y su pureza, así como mantener sus estrechos vínculos con las masas populares. Debemos perfeccionar el sistema de gobernanza integral y rigurosa del Partido, fortalecer en todos los aspectos su construcción tomando como eje la construcción política, librar con firmeza la batalla prolongada e integral contra la corrupción y reforzar continuamente la capacidad del Partido para ejercer liderazgo político, orientar ideológicamente, organizar a las masas y movilizar a la sociedad, garantizando que siga siendo, durante todo el proceso histórico de perseverar y desarrollar el socialismo con características chinas en la nueva era, el sólido núcleo dirigente.
¡Camaradas, amigos!
Para construir un país fuerte es indispensable contar con unas fuerzas armadas fuertes; solo con un ejército poderoso puede garantizarse la seguridad nacional. En el nuevo recorrido, debemos aplicar integralmente el pensamiento del Partido sobre el fortalecimiento del ejército en la nueva era y la estrategia militar de la nueva época; mantener la dirección absoluta del Partido sobre el Ejército Popular; seguir inquebrantablemente el camino del fortalecimiento militar con características chinas; impulsar de manera integral el fortalecimiento político, la reforma militar, el desarrollo científico y tecnológico, la formación de talentos y la administración del ejército conforme a la ley; promover con alta calidad la modernización de la defensa nacional y de las fuerzas armadas; cumplir según lo previsto el objetivo del centenario de la fundación del ejército; acelerar la construcción de unas fuerzas armadas de categoría mundial; defender resueltamente la soberanía, la seguridad y los intereses de desarrollo del país; y realizar mayores contribuciones al mantenimiento de la paz y el desarrollo mundiales.
Promover la prosperidad y la estabilidad duraderas de Hong Kong y Macao constituye una exigencia inherente al gran rejuvenecimiento de la nación china. En el nuevo recorrido, debemos aplicar de manera plena, precisa e inquebrantable el principio de «un país, dos sistemas», «los habitantes de Hong Kong administran Hong Kong», «los habitantes de Macao administran Macao» y un alto grado de autonomía; aplicar el principio de que «los patriotas gobiernan Hong Kong» y «los patriotas gobiernan Macao»; mejorar la eficacia de la gobernanza conforme a la ley en ambas regiones administrativas especiales; promover su desarrollo económico y social; y apoyarlas para que se integren mejor y sirvan de mejor manera a la estrategia general del desarrollo nacional.
Resolver la cuestión de Taiwán y lograr la reunificación completa de la patria constituye una misión histórica a la que nuestro Partido permanece inquebrantablemente comprometido y representa el anhelo común de todos los hijos e hijas de la nación china. Debemos aplicar profundamente la estrategia general del Partido para resolver la cuestión de Taiwán en la nueva era; mantener el principio de una sola China y el «Consenso de 1992»; unir a los compatriotas taiwaneses; profundizar los intercambios, la cooperación y la integración entre ambos lados del estrecho; combatir resueltamente las fuerzas separatistas que promueven la «independencia de Taiwán»; oponernos a toda injerencia de fuerzas externas; y avanzar con firmeza en la gran causa de la reunificación nacional.
¡Camaradas, amigos!
La juventud es la fuerza vital para hacer realidad el gran rejuvenecimiento de la nación china. Todo el Partido debe valorar a los jóvenes, preocuparse por ellos y apoyarlos, creando las condiciones necesarias para su crecimiento y desarrollo. Los jóvenes chinos de la nueva era deben escuchar inquebrantablemente al Partido y seguirlo, cultivar grandes ideales, asumir con valentía las importantes responsabilidades de su tiempo, integrar sus aspiraciones personales en la causa del Partido y del Estado, aprovechar cada momento sin desperdiciar su juventud y desempeñar con éxito su papel en el relevo histórico del nuevo recorrido, allanando el camino con su juventud y haciendo brillar sus ideales.
¡Camaradas, amigos!
Los 105 años de gloriosa historia del Partido Comunista de China son motivo de orgullo, pero jamás debemos caer en la complacencia ni detener nuestro avance. Para mediados de este siglo debemos culminar la construcción integral de una gran potencia socialista moderna y alcanzar el segundo objetivo centenario. ¡El tiempo no espera a nadie! ¡La historia no espera a nadie! Todas las camaradas del Partido deben mantenerse siempre fieles a la aspiración original y tener presente su misión; deben actuar con humildad y prudencia, perseverar en el esfuerzo constante y estar preparados para luchar y saber hacerlo; deben apoyarse firmemente en los pueblos de todas las etnias del país, unirlos y conducirlos para avanzar en el nuevo recorrido y realizar nuevas contribuciones en la nueva era, esforzándose por crear nuevos y grandiosos logros históricos.

Comrades, friends:
Today we are solemnly gathering to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, to remember the glorious path taken by our Party, to contemplate the bright prospects for the development of the Party and the cause of People, and to mobilize the entire Party and the people of all ethnic groups of the country to boldly advance, with full confidence, towards the great goal of building a powerful modern socialist nation in a comprehensive way and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
First of all, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Party, I extend my greetings on the occasion of this celebration to all members of the Communist Party of China. I also extend my warmest congratulations to the recipients of the Medal of July 1st, as well as to exemplary Party members, outstanding party affairs workers and the advanced grassroots organizations which have been recognized at the national level.
Comrades, friends!
105 years ago, in the midst of the great awakening of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation, and as a result of the close integration of Marxism-Leninism with the Chinese labor movement, the Communist Party of China was born. Since then, the Chinese people and the Chinese nation had their strongest backbone, and a China burdened by internal and external difficulties, poverty and weakness began a historical transformation of extraordinary dimensions.
During these 105 years, our Party has remained faithful to its original mission of bringing happiness to the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It has deeply understood the trends of world development, accurately grasped the changes in the main social contradictions of each historical stage, and tirelessly united and guided the people of all ethnic groups of the country in a constant struggle, reaching great achievements in the new democratic revolution, socialist revolution, in their creation, reform and opening up, together with the construction of socialist modernization, and of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, thus writing the greatest epic of several millennia of the history of the Chinese nation.
The 105 years of incessant struggle have fundamentally transformed the fate of the Chinese people. Under the leadership of the Party, the people waged great struggles of enormous magnitude, overthrew the three great forces of imperialism, feudalism and bureaucratic capitalism, founded a New China where the people are the owners of the country, completely put an end to the history of the old China as a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, and achieved a historical leap in the standard of living of the people, moving from insufficiency in food and clothing to a society modestly well-off in general terms and, subsequently, to a society modestly well-off in all aspects. Today, the Chinese people hold their destiny firmly in their own hands and move forward with confidence, independence and strength towards an even more promising future.
The 105 years of incessant struggle opened the right path to make the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation a reality. In the great practices of revolution, construction, reform and the new era, our Party led the People to overcome countless difficulties and successfully opened the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, firmly maintaining it. In just a few decades China went through the industrialization process that took developed countries several centuries, creating the two great miracles of rapid economic development along with lasting social stability. Our Party has persisted in combining the fundamental principles of Marxism with the concrete reality of China and with China’s excellent traditional culture, continuously promoting the adaptation of Marxism to the Chinese context and the demands of the times. From this process emerged the Thought of Mao Zedong, the Theory of Deng Xiaoping, the important thought of Triple Representativity, the Scientific Conception of Development and the Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era, greatly enriching and developing Marxism. Today, the vigorous vitality and dynamism of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics fully demonstrate the scientific character and veracity of Marxism, demonstrate its people-oriented and practical character, and fully highlight its openness and its relevance for our epoch.
These 105 years of incessant struggle have profoundly influenced the course of world history. Our Party has always stood on the right side of history and the progress of human civilization, profoundly transforming the trends and the configuration of world development through constant struggle based on self-improvement. Today, under the leadership of the Party, the People are pushing for Chinese-style modernization, creating a new form of human civilization, and expanding the ways enabling developing countries to achieve modernization. We promote the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity and we bring China's wisdom, proposals and strength to address humanity's great challenges. Party-led, socialist China is widely recognized as a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development and a defender of international order.
The 105 years of incessant struggle have forged a strong Communist Party of China. Our Party has always kept in mind the nature, purpose and goals of struggle proper to a Marxist party; it has vigorously promoted the great founding spirit of the Party; it has emerged strengthened from adversities and has tempered itself through innumerable trials. Today, our Party has become the largest ruling party in the world, with a global influence of great importance. It has the sincere commitment and support of the People, constitutes the solid leading core of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and is fully worthy of being considered a great, glorious and correctly oriented Party.

All the achievements made during these 105 years are the result of the tireless struggle of generation after generation of Chinese communists, who, united, have led the Chinese people onward. The Chinese communists, represented principally by Comrade Mao Zedong, Comrade Deng Xiaoping, Comrade Jiang Zemin and Comrade Hu Jintao, made extraordinary and indelible contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. We express our highest respect to them!
At this time, we remember with deep emotion the revolutionaries of the previous generation, such as comrades Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi, Zhu De, Deng Xiaoping, Chen Yun and Comrade Jiang Zemin. We also remember with deep respect the revolutionary martyrs and all the people of high ideals who, one after another, sacrificed their lives and made enormous contributions for national independence, the liberation of the people, the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people. Their great merits favoring the nation and the country will be forever inscribed in history. Their high spirit will remain eternally engraved in the hearts of hundreds of millions of people!
The People are the creator of history and the true protagonist. On behalf of the Central Committee of the Party, I express here my highest respect to all the people of the country and people from all walks of life who are fighting on the various fronts of work. The reason why the Communist Party of China has been able to continuously forge new achievements during its 105 years of struggle, and the reason why history and the People chose the Communist Party of China, lies fundamentally in the fact that our Party possesses outstanding qualities incomparable with those of any other party or political force.
- The firm search for the truth and the constant maintenance of the correct course. Our Party has taken Marxism as a powerful ideological tool to transform both the subjective and the objective world. It has persisted in emancipating the mind, seeking the truth from the facts, moving forward with the times and acting with pragmatism. It has paid special attention to discovering and applying truth in the development of social contradictions, has known how to prove and develop itself through practice, and has continuously used new theories to guide new practices, ensuring that the cause of the Party and the People always advances on the right path.
- The deep roots in the people are a solid and unshakable foundation. Our Party has always kept in mind that the country belongs to the People and that the People constitute the country. It has maintained the principle of sustaining the Party for the public interest and governing for the benefit of the People, has consciously practiced the fundamental purpose of wholeheartedly serving the People, and has firmly stood by the people, thinking and acting with them, thereby consolidating a solid foundation that no storm can shake.
- The courage to assume its historical mission and always maintain the strategic initiative. Our Party harbors the lofty ideal of communism and is committed to the great cause of the eternal rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It has firmly assumed the responsibilities that history and the People have entrusted to it, has maintained unity between long-term and phased objectives, has established the central tasks according to the evolution of the main social contradictions and has correctly formulated and implemented the necessary lines, guidelines and policies to ensure control and initiative in the development of the Party and the cause of the country.
- Adapting to the current of development and constant leadership of the times. Our Party maintains a high historical consciousness and a broad worldview. It clearly understands China's national conditions and the central issues of each epoch; it actively responds to changes, adapts to them and promotes new transformations; it moves forward with determination and innovation, striving to make all the tasks of the Party reflect the characteristics of the times, respect the laws of development and possess a creative spirit. In this way, it guides the country and the nation to advance according to the logic of historical progress and the pace of development of the time, rightfully becoming the pioneer of its time and the backbone of the nation.
- The ability and determination to fight, always maintaining confidence in victory. Our Party has preserved and promoted the spirit of not fearing sacrifice and fighting courageously. For the People, for the Nation, for the State and for its ideals and convictions, it has overcome obstacles and difficulties with perseverance. No matter how powerful the enemy is, how difficult the path is, or how severe the challenges are, it has never felt fear or backed down. With a will of steel, firm and unshakable in the face of any storm, it has inspired the people of the whole country to advance from victory to victory.
- Permanent attention to internal strengthening and constant maintenance of its vitality. Our Party clearly understands that in order to forge iron, one must first be strong. It knows how to examine himself in accordance with the demands of the development of the times, to remain alert with a deep sense of responsibility in the face of risks and to perfect itself through the spirit of self-revolution. It attaches great importance to its own construction, resolutely eliminates all the factors that harm its advanced character and purity, as well as everything that corrodes the health of its organization, continuously strengthening itself through a permanent process of revolutionary transformation.
These outstanding qualities constitute the fundamental key that explains why the Chinese Communist Party has achieved its successes. We must, in the light of new circumstances, continue to develop and strengthen these qualities, ensuring that the Party never changes its nature, orientation or essence, and that it always retains a powerful capacity for creation, cohesion and combat.

Fulfilling the mission and tasks of the Party in the new era and in the new path demands that all Chinese communists maintain firm confidence, continue to struggle relentlessly and constantly create new achievements worthy of our time and our people.
- Maintaining firm confidence and continuing to fight requires persevering in the fundamental theory, the fundamental line and the fundamental strategy of the Party. The fundamental theory, the fundamental line and the fundamental strategy of the Party constitute important achievements reached by the Party and the People after arduous explorations and represent the fundamental guide for the cause of the Party and the State. On the new path, the whole Party should keep to that path and determination unchanged, uphold the comprehensive leadership of the Party and the centralized and unified leadership of the Central Committee, deeply apply the Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era, strengthen confidence in the path, theory, system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, so as to continue the work started by previous generations and to innovate on the basis of the fundamental principles, without being confused by appearances or losing our way when facing the wind and waves.
- Maintaining a steadfast trust and continuing to fight requires relying closely on the People to create new historical achievements. Persisting and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics is a common cause of the entire Party and the peoples of all ethnic groups in the country. In the new path, the entire Party should further strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit and the will to act, unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups of the country to move onward with initiative, promote in a coordinated manner the general arrangement of the "Five in One" and the comprehensive strategy of the "Four Aspects", fully, accurately and comprehensively implement the new concept of development, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern and solidly promote high-quality development. We should practice people-centered development thinking, develop full-process people's democracy, continuously consolidate and strengthen the great unity of all ethnicities, the entire Chinese people and all the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation, fully stimulating the initiative, enthusiasm and creativity of hundreds of millions of people, gathering together a powerful force to drive Chinese-style modernization.
- Maintaining firm confidence and continuing to fight requires actively responding to risks and challenges on the way forward. The development of our country is going through a stage in which strategic opportunities and risks coexist, while uncertain and unpredictable factors increase. We must be prepared at all times to face trials of great magnitude, even storms of extraordinary intensity. Along this new course, the whole Party should strengthen risk awareness, maintain security-based thinking, promote the fighting spirit and improve the ability to face challenges, better coordinate national and international scenarios, harmonize development with security and strengthen the ability to scientifically foresee changes, detect risks in a timely way and effectively respond to challenges, ensuring that the great ship of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation continues to move forward with firmness and stability, overcoming the wind and the waves.
- Maintaining a firm trust and continuing to fight requires constantly promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity. As profound changes unprecedented in a century accelerate, the world has entered a new period of turbulence and transformation, and humanity is once again at a crossroads about its future course. On the new path, we must respond to the aspirations of peoples and the general trend of the times, raise the flags of peace, development, cooperation and mutual benefit, promote the common values of all humanity, encourage the construction of a new type of international relations and promote the implementation of the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative, bringing more positive energy to world peace and development.
- Maintaining a firm trust and continuing to fight requires perseverance in promoting the comprehensive and rigorous governance of the Party. Comprehensive and strict governance of the Party is a permanent task. On the new path, we should fully implement the thinking on building the Party the new era and implement the general requirements for building the Party in this new stage, aiming to strengthen the Party's ability to exercise lasting government, preserve its advanced character and purity, as well as maintain its close ties with the popular masses. We must perfect the comprehensive and rigorous governance system of the Party, strengthen its construction in all aspects based on political construction, firmly wage the long-term and comprehensive battle against corruption, and continuously strengthen the Party's ability to exercise political leadership, ideologically orient, organize the masses and mobilize society, ensuring that it remains the solid leading core throughout the historical process of persevering and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.

To build a strong country, it is essential to have strong armed forces; only with a powerful army can national security be guaranteed. On the new path, we must comprehensively apply the Party's thinking on reinforcing the army in the new era and the military strategy of the new era; maintain the absolute leadership of the Party on the People's Army; unflinchingly follow the path of military strengthening with Chinese characteristics, so as to comprehensively promote political strengthening, military reform, scientific and technological development, talent training and the administration of the army in accordance with the law; to promote with high quality the modernization of national defense and the armed forces; to fulfill as planned the goal of the centenary of the foundation of the army; to accelerate the construction of world-class armed forces; to resolutely defend the sovereignty, security and development interests of the country; and to make greater contributions to the maintenance of world peace and development.
Promoting the lasting prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macau is an inherent requirement of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In this new turn, we must fully, accurately and unwaveringly implement the principle of "one country, two systems", "Hong Kong people manage Hong Kong", "Macau people manage Macau" and a high degree of autonomy; implement the principle that "patriots rule Hong Kong" and "patriots rule Macau"; improve the effectiveness of law-abiding governance in both special administrative regions, so as to promote their economic and social development; and to support them so that they integrate better and serve in a better way the general strategy of national development.
Resolving the Taiwan issue and achieving the complete reunification of the Motherland is a historic mission to which our Party remains unswervingly committed and represents the common yearning of all the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation. We should deeply implement the Party's overall strategy to resolve the Taiwan issue in the new era; uphold the one-China principle and the "1992 Consensus"; unite Taiwanese compatriots; deepen cross-strait exchanges, cooperation and integration; resolutely combat the separatist forces that promote "Taiwan independence"; oppose all interference by external forces; and firmly advance the great cause of national reunification.

Youth is the vital force to make the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation a reality. The whole Party should value young people, care about them and support them, creating the necessary conditions for their growth and development. The Chinese young people of the new era should listen unwaveringly to the Party and follow it, cultivate great ideals, courageously assume the important responsibilities of their time, integrate their personal aspirations into the cause of the Party and the State, seize every moment without wasting their youth and successfully play their role in the historical handing on of the new path, paving the way with their youth and making their ideals shine.
