A very good afternoon, Compañera. Good afternoon, beloved Families of our Blessed Nation, Our Patriotic Nation, our Sovereign Nation, the Patriotic Nation we love... A Free Nation! A Patriotic Nation in which we Go Onward, a Nation for which to continue creating the victories we all deserve... a Patriotic Nation to build, never again to destroy. A Nation for Everyone. A Nation for the Good of Everyone!
Today we had our weekly meeting of all the Detachments of Victories which, in all the Departments, Municipalities, Communities, Counties, of our Blessed Nicaragua, work with the Families-President, building with Joy and Hope the Present and the Future, out of Peace, Security, Stability and the Common Good, which we protect with Great Love.
By the end of this Tuesday's session we agreed a series of plans and programs of Rights being restored in all fields: Health, better and more Health every day... Education, more Schools, more students graduating. Yesterday we were watching the graduations at the Universities of the People President. How much Pride, how much Joy, and how much Future we are all building together! Education plans and Programs.
Housing... Yesterday we were saying that we will be delivering more Housing. Practically every weekend, if not every day, we deliver homes to families who, thanks be to God, thanks to the People President, live better and more content, which is the most important thing.
Delivering Roads, Highways, Bridges; Telecommunications; Safety, Security, ever more Security, in the face of potentially disastrous events.
Yesterday we mentioned the Monitoring Center for potentially disastrous events, which we were able to inaugurate thanks to the Cooperation of the People's Republic of China and the its operative capacity which we guarantee every day, this Center is a Hope, it is a Certainty that we will be able to prevent, to take care of life, with the knowledge and information that we can now receive even earlier.
Then we have Art, Culture, Tradition, Creativity, Traditional Festivals, revealing everything we love so much: our Gastronomy, our Customs, our Events of that deep Faith of Nicaraguan Families, Celebratory Events. Because we are Blessed, Blessed Nicaragua, Always Dignified for Sovereign, for we are Nicaragua, and as True Nicaraguans, we safeguard Peace.
We have approved the plans for the Month of our Patriotic Nation, which we will proudly promote throughout the country, highlighting the infinite Joy and also the infinite Tranquility which, thanks be to God, we have, living in Harmony, living in Concord, living every day the Heroism and Courage that we know in ourselves, confirmed in this great visionary poem by Fernando Gordillo...
I sing of the courage of those who dream
as they pull their feet from the mud.
Their eyes unafraid of the night
nor blinded by the shadows.
I sing of the silence of those who meditate the cry
they release even in the middle of the desert.
Their hands holding up the hope
they build in the air with their words.
I sing of the flag billowing in the distance
and of the manly staff that holds it
and the days leading us to hoist it
and wind of the People that makes it fly.
I sing the name of those who write history
though history may never sing their names.
Their naked shoulders sustain our Hope!”
Naked and powerful shoulders of a Heroic People, by the hundreds of thousands, a People who have given their lives fighting for Peace, and who deserve, all our Heroes, their families, all the Heroic and Combative, Hardworking Families of our Nicaragua, who deserve to live serenely, safely, in Peace and Well-being, building our Future.
Brother and Sisterhood, Solidarity, Complementarity, this is how we Go Onward. We have so much to thank God for. So much to take care for, so much to advance, to set ourselves free from living precariously, free from Poverty in all its forms, including that Precariousness and that Spiritual Poverty of all that is bad, of evil. The Poverty that was imposed on us, but which never entered our Souls... material poverty. But we are a wealthy people, very rich, abundantly so, Thank God, in Spirit.
The People United
Will Never be Defeated!
United and Organized, Full of Faith and Hope. Full of love!
Unity is Strength, Unity is Fortitude, Unity is Peace, Unity is Security, Unity is Joy, Happiness and Prosperity. Unity marks a People who deserve the best, because our People has know, We have known, and We do know, how to to Strive Courageously so as to Overcome. And We Continue to Overcome!
At the beginning of the month of our Patriotic Nation, on the very First of September, the National Assembly will present the Result of all the Consultations held throughout the month of August. They have already included, at this point, more than 200,000 Brothers and Sisters of all ranks, of all trades, of all occupations, of all ages, who wanted to have their voice heard and their vote received in favor of the continuity of Concord, of the Strength of Peace and Love, and of the Paths of Rights and Achievements, which Nicaraguans are living in Security, Stability, Concord, and Harmony. And God Willing we will go ahead, we will continue to live that way, we will continue to live in Peace.
That is the Supreme Will of the Most High and that is the conviction and decision of Nicaragua’s Families. Let no one doubt it.
Beloved Compañeras and Compañeros :
Nicaragua Triumphs in Peace and Unity. Out there are those people who are distorted, people who are lost, there are those ridiculous, presumptuous, smug people. I call them puffed up turkeys, puffed up turkeys and buzzards, people good only for licking the soles of others’ boots. We know them all too well!
Out there are the unbelievers, the philistines, deluded with self-importance... we can see them; not even whited sepulchers, just tombs, dark as Hell; they are like jukeboxes, taking coin after coin, turning out the same old songs, so far as I can see, but in any case foxes behind the same pine tree, thinking they are hidden, when all can see them for the shabby, dirty, miserable tatters they are. We all can see them, and we are all familiar with them, and we all know them, for all of us have suffered from them at some point, their disintegrating trifling wretchedness, falling apart all on their own.
But here is God, and here is Peace... They are out there in the flames of all the hells they have created for themselves and in which their baseness burns. They are reduced, needy and nameless, and, certainly, none of those bloodsucking parasites will make the Kingdom of Heaven.
In Nicaragua, Patriotic Nation, We Go Onward, Always Further On, and the Great Spirit, the Stars, the Celestial Sky of Hopes, as our Rubén wrote, the Emblems, Banners and Flags of Peace and Goodness guide our Steps.
Long live our Patriotic Nation!
Long live Peace!
Long live Love and Faith!
Long live the Heroic People of Nicaragua, Dignified, Proud and Sovereign!
