On the occasion of the commemoration, on August 11, of the 66th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Chad, on behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own, we convey our congratulations to you, to your Government and to the Chadian People.
This historic date reaffirms the value of Independence, Sovereignty and Self-Determination, fundamental principles so that each People can build their own future, in accordance with its national aspirations and priorities.
We reiterate our willingness to continue strengthen our friendship based on sovereign equality, mutual respect and the free self-determination of our peoples.
