Honorables miembros de la Junta Directiva de la Asamblea Nacional, distinguidos diputados y diputadas, autoridades presentes: Reciban un respetuoso saludo en nombre de los Hombres y Mujeres que conformamos la Policía Nacional.
Agradecemos la invitación para participar en esta importante Sesión de Consulta sobre la Reforma a nuestra Constitución Política, la Máxima Ley de la Nación, instrumento jurídico que orienta la vida institucional del Estado y fortalece los Derechos, Deberes y Responsabilidades de todos los nicaragüenses.
Para la Policía Nacional constituye un alto honor formar parte de este proceso, reafirmando nuestro compromiso de cumplir con la misión constitucional que el pueblo y la ley nos han encomendado.
Nuestra institución armada continuará desempeñando sus funciones con Firmeza, Responsabilidad y Vocación de Servicio, garantizando la Paz, la Seguridad Ciudadana, la Tranquilidad de las Personas, las Familias y las Comunidades, condición indispensable para el Bienestar, la Convivencia y el Desarrollo de nuestro País.
Reiteramos nuestra disposición de continuar trabajando con Lealtad, Obediencia, Disciplina y firme Compromiso Institucional, actuando en estricto cumplimiento de la Constitución Política y de nuestra Jefatura Suprema, para seguir garantizando la Paz, la Seguridad, la Tranquilidad de las Familias y forta-leciendo la confianza del Pueblo nicaragüense en su Policía Nacional.
Nuestra Constitución Política establece en su Artículo Número 1: La independencia, la Soberanía, la Autodeterminación Nacional, la Seguridad y la Paz, son Derechos irrenunciables del Pueblo y Fundamentos de la Nación nicaragüense. Toda injerencia extranjera en los Asuntos Internos de Nicaragua o cualquier intento de menoscabar esos Derechos atentan contra la Vida del Pueblo. Es Deber de todos los y las nicaragüenses preservar y defender estos Derechos.

Honorable members of the Executive Board of the National Assembly, distinguished deputies, authorities present:
Receive a respectful greeting on behalf of the Men and Women who make up the National Police.
We are grateful for the invitation to participate in this important Consultative Session on the Reform of our Political Constitution, the Highest Law of the Nation, the legal instrument that guides the institutional life of the State and strengthens the Rights, Duties and Responsibilities of all Nicaraguans.
It is a great honor for the National Police to be part of this process, reaffirming our commitment to fulfilling the constitutional mission that the People and the Law have entrusted to us.
Our armed institution will continue to perform its functions with firmness, responsibility and vocation of service, guaranteeing Peace, citizen security and the tranquility of individuals, families and communities, an indispensable condition for our country’s well-being, coexistence and development.
We reiterate our willingness to continue working with loyalty, obedience, discipline and firm commitment as an institution, acting in strict compliance with the Political Constitution and our Supreme Leadership, to continue guaranteeing Peace, Security, Tranquility for families and strengthening the confidence of the Nicaraguan People in their National Police.
Our Political Constitution establishes in its first Article that: Independence, Sovereignty, National Self-Determination, Security and Peace are inalienable Rights of the People and Foundations of the Nicaraguan Nation. Any foreign interference in the internal affairs of Nicaragua or any attempt to undermine those Rights threatens the life of the People. It is the duty of all Nicaraguans to preserve and defend these rights.
